Not announced, but heists have been at the centre of GTA Online for eleven years. GTA Online added heists in 2015 and kept expanding them, with the Doomsday Heist in 2017, the Diamond Casino Heist in 2019, the solo friendly Cayo Perico Heist in 2020 and the Kortz Center Heist in July 2026.
GTA Online's newest heist is barely three months old. The Kortz Center Heist launched on 14 July 2026, according to Take Two's first quarter results, and sent players after the art in Los Santos' main cultural institution.
No GTA 6 Online heists have been announced. But Rockstar is still building heists eleven years after the first one, which says a lot about where the money and the players are.

Why did Cayo Perico change heists?
Because it could be played alone. Earlier heists needed a crew of two to four. Cayo Perico let one player do the whole job, and it became one of the best known earners in making money in GTA Online.
What might GTA 6 Online heists look like?
Nobody outside Rockstar knows, so this is a forecast. Crew heists with setup missions are the series pattern, and solo options have been standard since 2020. GTA 6's own story already leans on a robbery that goes wrong, according to Rockstar's story line in Take Two's preorder announcement.
